Generative AI Policy for a U.S. Dual-Pathway University: Process Evidence over Detector Panic

Abstract

Crownshire students on campus and online have the same award and must have the same integrity rules. This paper tests a declaration-and-process-note policy against detector-only flagging. Detectors misfired on multilingual American students. Short orals and draft trails identified contract cheating more fairly in both pathways. Crownshire University should run one integrity code. Research must keep campus and digital students in the same moral community.
